BioTex was founded by scientists committed to innovating and developing solutions to medical, biomedical, and biotechnology problems. From our first NIH SBIR grant which helped launch the company in 1997 to our current development activities, we build value in new technologies by directing effective research programs and demonstrating commercial feasibility of promising new devices. We maintain an extensive network of collaborators for pre-clinical and clinical testing at renowned medical facilities both locally and nationwide. Past research and development efforts include projects in the following areas:

  • Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery
  • Continuous Glucose Sensing
  • Permanent Female Contraception
  • Focal Ablation of Prostate Tumors
  • Cranial Access Devices
  • Image Guided Therapies
